Contests / Programs

In addition to the standard livestock shows associated with the Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Exposition, several other contests and projects are available for 4-H Youth to participate in. Each of these shows encourage character growth and agriculture knowledge for those individuals participating.

This is done through eight additional contests held each year. Through written exams, speaking presentations, industry knowledge, species knowledge, mentor involvement and more, each of the youth participating gain a great deal of important life skills.
