2010 Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Exposition
September 21-26, 2010
The 83rd Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Youth Livestock Exposition has been scheduled for September 21-26 at the Qwest Center. Please check back often for Nomination, entry, schedule and rule updates. The 2010 Premium Book will only be available to download in January. For more information on individual specie shows, please "click" the corresponding button on the left.
More than 2,000 4-H families from an eight-state area participate in the Expo. Categories of this 4-H only competition are Dairy, Feeder Calf & Breeding Beef, Horse, Market Beef, Market Broilers, Meat Goats, Market Lamb, Market Swine and Breeding Swine.
To be eligible to exhibit at the Ak-Sar-Ben Livestock Exposition the 4-H member must be at least 10 years of age by January 1, and must meet the requirement for exhibition as set by 4-H office for state and interstate shows in state of 4-H membership. 4-H members having completed their membership eligibility in a state are ineligible to enter the Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Expo as a member of another state. Horse exhibitors must be 12 years of age by January 1 of the current year.
